When it's cold, light perfumes fade quickly. Winter is the season for rich trails: amber, vanilla, woods, spices, oud, leather. They diffuse better against warm clothing and last longer. Here are our favourites.
Amber and vanilla

- Spray it on your scarf or coat collar: it lasts there for days.
- Don't overdo it: these perfumes are powerful, 2 or 3 sprays are enough.
- Moisturise your skin, which is drier in winter: the perfume will last better.
